A new in-construction map location in Fortnite alongside a mysterious social media teaser strongly suggests an upcoming crossover with Five Nights at Freddy's.
Epic Games may finally be bringing animatronic horror to the island. Recent community discoveries point to a brand-new building under construction on the battle royale map, which closely resembles the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria layout from the live-action film adaptation. First spotted by players and amplified by prominent community insiders, the in-progress site features a distinct green roof and a potential stage area that has the community buzzing.
This tease arrives right as Chapter 7 Season 4 launches with a heavy focus on gaming icons. The current season, titled Override, has already introduced a massive Green Hills point of interest for Sonic the Hedgehog alongside character skins in the battle pass. Epic has also confirmed upcoming appearances for heavy hitters like Sora from Kingdom Hearts and Joker from Persona 5, proving that the crossover machine is showing no signs of slowing down.
Adding fuel to the fire, the official Five Nights at Freddy's social media channels recently shared a mysterious teaser image pointing toward an unnamed collaboration. While neither Epic nor ScottGames has officially confirmed a crossover, the timing aligns too neatly to ignore. For a community that has spent years requesting this specific matchup, the current season might finally deliver one of the most anticipated cosmetic drops in battle royale history.
