A leaked gameplay trailer has surfaced online, offering our first real look at the upcoming Fortnite and South Park crossover. According to the footage reported by IGN South Africa, fans can expect iconic characters like Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and Butters to arrive in the item shop soon. Rather than altering standard hitboxes drastically, the core gang will appear as skins housed inside custom mech suits, following the creative template Epic Games previously used for characters like Rick Sanchez and various cartoon favorites.
Beyond the main crew, the leak confirms that Towelie will join the island as a back bling pet companion. This collaboration fits right into Fortnite's ongoing strategy of blending massive pop culture franchises into its ever-shifting seasonal meta. For players who treat the battle royale as a massive digital hangout, adding Comedy Central icons to the locker alongside anime heroes and musical icons is another win for ultimate crossover potential.
While Epic Games has not yet dropped an official release date for the South Park drop, leaks of this scale usually mean the launch is just around the corner. As live service games continue to double down on recognizable brand synergy, player conversations are already shifting to how many V-Bucks this bundle will cost. Keep an eye on your locker tabs and creator feeds for the official reveal in the coming days.
