Polygon outlines the full lineup of skins, styles, and unlock requirements for the video game-themed Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 battle pass, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and Geno.
Epic Games is leaning hard into gaming history for its latest seasonal theme. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled Override, centers entirely around video game culture, and the new battle pass reflects that focus with a mix of iconic guest stars and original outfits. Polygon has detailed the full lineup of characters hitting the game right out of the gate, giving players a clear look at what to grind for as they level up.
Sonic the Hedgehog headlines the crossover talent this season, unlocking immediately upon purchasing the pass and featuring an in-game emote that lets players transform into Super Sonic. Alongside the Blue Blur, the pass introduces split reward paths at various level milestones. Players hitting level 10 can choose between Wrixel and Phantom, while level 35 unlocks Mali and Bastian. Later tiers bring K1ttyw1ns and Grace Crowne into the mix at level 60, with Geno rounding out the main pass as the final unlock at level 85.
Beyond the base models, multiple alternate styles for each character are tied to specific progression quests and bonus page rewards. Early buyers also get access to specific promotional rewards like the Infiltrator Grace Crowne outfit for picking up the pass during its launch window, and the Peril Peak Mali style for gifting the pass to a friend. As always, these tiered digital economies keep creator communities busy mapping out the fastest XP routes as a new season gets underway.
