Epic Games has officially confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy's is coming to Fortnite for Fortnitemares 2026, featuring a new pizzeria map location and animatronic bosses.

After months of community speculation and subtle teasing on the battle royale island, Epic Games has officially confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy's is headlining this year's Fortnitemares event. As reported by Eurogamer, a new trailer reveals that Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is arriving as a major map location, bringing iconic animatronic bosses like Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy straight into active matches.

The crossover has been a long time coming for players who spotted security cameras, familiar dialogue, and pizzeria assets scattered across the map during previous seasons. Starting October 1st, players can drop into the spooky seasonal update to face the Fazbear Band in direct combat and test their survival skills against the franchise's most infamous inhabitants.

This high-profile collaboration highlights Epic's ongoing strategy of blending mainstream horror properties into the game's evolving live service ecosystem. It gives creators and fans alike fresh content to stream and share just in time for the Halloween season.
