Square Enix and developer Applibot are expanding the mobile and PC scope of Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis with the official release of the Before Crisis Chapter 1 Turks Business trailer. This latest update brings fresh story content to the free-to-play turn-based action adventure RPG, letting players dive deeper into the expanded lore surrounding the infamous corporate security force. As the mobile platform continues to prove its viability for deep, narrative-driven role-playing experiences, Square Enix is leaning hard into nostalgia paired with accessible, on-the-go mechanics.
For players tracking the ever-expanding compilation of Final Fantasy 7, the addition of Before Crisis material bridges significant gaps in the broader timeline. It gives both longtime fans and newer players on mobile and PC a fresh angle on familiar events. While mobile RPG economies and live service structures always warrant a careful look from the community, the steady rollout of substantial story chapters keeps active players engaged and logging in.
You can watch the new footage and check out the original report over at IGN South Africa via their official coverage. As Ever Crisis continues to roll out classic compilation stories through its episodic framework, expect the community to dissect how these classic narrative beats translate to modern multi-platform play.
