Microsoft and Playground Games have detailed the pre-order bonuses, Premium edition perks, and a $199.99 Collector's Edition for the upcoming Fable reboot, which launches on February 23 following a brief delay.
Xbox made some major waves during the latest showcase, locking in a February 23 release date for the upcoming Fable reboot and offering a fresh look at the series lore. Alongside the release date reveal, details emerged regarding the game's pre-order bonuses, digital premium tiers, and a physical Collector's Edition that handles things right by actually including the full game. Console players will receive a physical disc, while PC players on Steam will get a digital code to jump straight into Albion.
Pre-ordering any version of the game grants access to a bundle that features the classic Chicken Suit alongside several in-game gifts designed to manipulate your hero's reputation. For players looking to invest more into the franchise, the digital Premium Edition offers early access starting on February 18, a digital artbook, the official soundtrack, and confirmation of access to the first post-launch expansion titled Order of the Hero. It is a standard approach for modern AAA releases, giving dedicated fans a clear path to extra digital goodies without feeling overly convoluted.
At the top tier sits the $199.99 Collector's Edition, which packages the Premium content alongside physical items tailored for long-time fans. The standout pieces include a detailed statuette of the returning villain Jack of Blades, a custom SteelBook case, a physical hardcover art book, and a Guild Seal lapel pin. While the wait has been long and the recent delay pushed the launch into next year, the revived franchise continues to lean into the choice-driven action RPG mechanics that defined the original trilogy, as reported by Game Rant.
