Epic Games Store has announced that Shogun Showdown and Mindcop will be its next free PC game offerings starting September 17.
The Epic Games Store has officially lined up its next batch of complimentary PC titles, with Game Rant reporting that Shogun Showdown and Mindcop will take over the weekly giveaway slot on September 17. Both indie titles will make their official platform debuts during the promotion, giving players a full week to claim them for keeps before the offer expires on September 24.
Shogun Showdown is a well-regarded tactical roguelite from solo developer Roboatino that focuses heavily on positioning and timing across a single line of combat. Joining it is Mindcop, a non-linear detective adventure by developer Andre Gareis and publisher Dear Villagers that tasks players with solving a murder within a strict five-day in-game time limit. Together, the two games represent nearly thirty dollars in combined retail value.
For players looking to pad their digital libraries without touching their wallets, the current rotation featuring Astral Ascent and Luftrausers remains active through September 17. Epic's ongoing weekly schedule continues to be one of the most reliable ways for PC gamers to discover standout indie gems without having to gamble on blind purchases.
