The Epic Games Store has announced that Mechabellum and Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles will be free to claim starting September 24.
As reported by Game Rant, the Epic Games Store has detailed its upcoming lineup for September 24, giving players a chance to grab two notable titles at zero cost. The standout addition is Mechabellum, a sci-fi mech auto-battler making its platform debut alongside its freebie premiere. Alongside it comes a returning favorite in the form of Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, a critically praised deck-building roguelite that previously appeared as a limited mystery drop back in December 2024.
Mechabellum centers on tactical positioning, letting players purchase units, choose upgrades, and adapt their formations between rounds across competitive multiplayer and cooperative PvE modes. Meanwhile, Astrea swaps traditional cards for dice and purifications mechanics, boasting an impressive 87 average score on OpenCritic and overwhelmingly positive player reviews on Steam. Together, the duo carries a combined retail value of roughly forty dollars and will remain claimable for a full week until October 1.
This upcoming drop continues a steady stream of weekly value from Epic, following a September slate that has already featured titles like Mindcop and Shogun Showdown. While digital storefronts and platform exclusivity wars often draw mixed reactions from the community, consistent giveaways of this caliber give players an easy way to expand their libraries without touching their wallets.
