Epic Games Store's latest free weekly offering includes the chaotic vehicular combat game Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks and the tactical chess roguelike The Ouroboros King, available to claim until June 18.
The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly offering, giving PC players two distinct titles to add to their libraries at no cost. According to a report by Polygon, this week features a high-octane vehicular combat game set in a popular sci-fi universe alongside a clever tactical mashup. Both titles are available to claim right now and will remain free to keep until June 18 at 11 a.m. EDT.
The headline freebie is Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, a chaotic multiplayer racing game that leans heavily into the destruction-derby energy of titles like Twisted Metal. Players can jump into eight-player lobbies using heavily armed buggies, tanks, and helicopters, utilizing various weapons and cosmetics along the way. Beyond the standard races, the game includes custom track creation tools and community sharing features, offering plenty of ways to keep the carnage fresh.
For those looking for a slower tactical burn, Epic is also offering The Ouroboros King. This title blends traditional chess mechanics with roguelike progression, letting players collect classic and custom pieces to build a formidable army. It is an approachable twist on a centuries-old game that still offers substantial depth and difficulty modifiers for players seeking a real challenge. You can head over to the Epic Games Store client right now to claim both games for your permanent library.
