Epic Games has dropped the cinematic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 7: Pacific Break, introducing a new coastal era called the Golden Coast to the hit battle royale.
Fortnite is officially entering its next major era with the release of the Chapter 7: Pacific Break cinematic trailer. Developed by Epic Games, the massive third-person battle royale continues to evolve its island framework by introducing the Golden Coast, a sun-drenched new region designed to host the next wave of community memories and seasonal narratives. For a game that operates as a central social hub, these seasonal shifts do more than just alter the map because they reset the cultural conversation across lobbies and creator streams alike.
Epic Games relies on these sweeping seasonal updates to keep the multi-platform experience fresh for a player base that spans PC, consoles, cloud streaming, and mobile devices. Chapter transitions remain a masterclass in event-driven entertainment, drawing millions of concurrent players and dominating viewership on Twitch and YouTube before the downtime even ends. Pacific Break looks ready to deliver on that high-stakes formula with a distinct aesthetic shift and new gameplay hooks.
As battle passes and digital economies continue to anchor how players invest their time, a new chapter means a fresh progression grind and plenty of new cosmetic hunts. Whether you are dropping in with a squad of cross-platform friends or tuning in to watch your favorite creators explore the Golden Coast, Pacific Break is shaping up to be another defining chapter for the platform. You can check out the official cinematic trailer over at IGN South Africa to see the new coastal zone in action.
