Dying Light: The Beast Marks One Year With Physical PS5 Discs and Community Events

Dying Light: The Beast is celebrating its first anniversary with a physical PS5 release through Super Rare Games, a three-week community event, and deep discounts across all platforms.

Techland is celebrating the first anniversary of Dying Light: The Beast with a major push for both digital and physical collectors. As reported by Game Rant, the studio is partnering with Super Rare Games to bring the title to physical media on the PlayStation 5 for the first time. Fans can choose between a standard retail version, a limited Super Rare Games edition featuring a metallic slipcover, and a heavily loaded Anniversary Edition that includes a physical Castor Woods map, an artbook, a double vinyl soundtrack, and various collectible pins and patches. Preorders for these physical versions are open now.

Alongside the physical release, Techland is kicking off a three-week in-game event called Call of the Beast. The celebration includes global community goals, weekend gameplay boons, daily login rewards, and a Double XP weekend. Players who jump into the event can unlock exclusive outfits and weapons inspired by the Castor Woods setting. Additionally, the Discharge Weapon Pack is currently free to claim across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox storefronts for a limited time.

For players who have not yet explored the Castor Woods setting, Techland is offering the game at a 50 percent discount across all platforms through September 26. The broader Dying Light Franchise Bundle is also discounted by up to 70 percent during the same window. It is a solid entry point for anyone looking to catch up on the series before diving into the new anniversary content and community challenges.
