IGN South Africa reported on the fresh reveals, highlighting how Disney continues to lean heavily into both high profile sequels and cozy community experiences. The showcase proved that the company understands its modern audience, which demands both prestige single player adventures and ongoing social games to share with friends.
The highlight for traditional gamers was the new extended gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4. Fans have been waiting patiently for another deep dive into the next chapter of Sora's journey, and this latest look delivered fresh combat footage and atmospheric world building. It is a reminder that the franchise remains a cornerstone of Disney's gaming strategy, bridging the gap between classic animation and modern action RPG mechanics.
Meanwhile, Disney Dreamlight Valley is keeping its active player base engaged with a heavy dose of early 2000s nostalgia. It is a smart play for the millennial and older gen z demographic that treats these virtual spaces as cozy digital living rooms to hang out in with friends and show off custom avatars.
