Disney has officially locked in a March 31, 2028 release date for its upcoming live-action Tangled remake during the D23 2026 presentation, as reported by IGN. The studio also shared the first official look at the cast in costume, featuring Teagan Croft as Rapunzel, Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider, and Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel. Development on the project gained significant momentum following the box office success of the live-action Lilo and Stitch adaptation.
While set photos leaked from production in Spain last month gave fans an early glimpse of the leads and the Stabbington brothers, general audiences still have a long wait ahead before the movie hits theaters. You can read the original reporting over at IGN South Africa.
