Pokémon GO's Ultra Unlock event unleashes Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in raids, with a chance to grab shinies and rack up bonus goodies – get ready for a raiding frenzy! August 10th is the day to spin those gym discs like a caffeinated washing machine.
Right, Pokémon GO trainers, brace yourselves, because Niantic's just dropped a doozy. Seems those mischievous Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia are gatecrashing Raid Battles on August 10th, and it’s going to be a right old scramble to catch 'em all.
According to Game Rant, this 'Ultra Unlock' event is the final reward for absolutely smashing those Global Challenges during Pokémon GO Fest 2025 (blimey, time flies, doesn't it?). It's a chance for players to snag some seriously powerful Pokémon originating from *Pokémon Legends: Arceus*. Think of it as a thank you for all that finger-swiping and Poké Ball chucking.
So, what's the fuss about these Origin Formes? Well, Dialga's packing Roar of Time and Palkia’s unleashing Spacial Rend – their signature moves, no less! These aren't your run-of-the-mill attacks, mate. You’ll want these chaps in your battle roster.
But here's where it gets interesting. Niantic isn’t just throwing these Legendaries at us. They’re sweetening the deal with a bunch of Raid-focused bonuses. We're talking:
* **Raid Pass Bonanza:** Spin those Gym Photo Discs like your life depends on it because you'll be getting 5 *extra* Raid Passes. That's more chances to battle, more chances to catch, and more chances to brag to your mates. * **Remote Raid Limit Lift:** Fancy raiding from your sofa? The Remote Raid limit's been bumped up to 20. So, you can join raids from anywhere in the world. No excuses for missing out! * **Shiny Shenanigans:** Increased chances of nabbing Shiny Origin Forme Dialga and Shiny Origin Forme Palkia. Gotta catch 'em *shiny*, right? * **XP and Candy Galore:** 1.5x XP from Raid Battles and a better chance of getting Rare Candy XL from in-person raids (for those of us above level 31, of course. Sorry, newbies!).
They're even flogging an Event Ticket (because, of course they are) that’ll get you even *more* Raid Passes, a Rare Candy XL for catching the big boys, and a hefty XP and Stardust boost. Is it worth it? That’s up to you, but remember, a savvy trainer always weighs the odds.
The event runs from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. local time on August 10th. So, clear your schedule, charge your phone, and prepare to raid like there's no tomorrow. Who knows, you might just snag that elusive Shiny Dialga or Palkia. And if you do... well, you've earned some serious bragging rights. Good luck, trainers!
