Diablo Is Getting an Official Theme Park Haunted House for Its 30th Anniversary

Blizzard is celebrating Diablo's 30th anniversary by partnering with Six Flags and Plague Productions to launch an official haunted house maze at Cedar Point and Kings Dominion for the 2026 Halloween season.

As legacy franchises celebrate major milestones this year, Blizzard is taking the celebration of Sanctuary outside the digital realm and into the physical world. A brand new interactive experience called Diablo: The Infernal Path is officially coming to select theme parks this fall. Developed in collaboration with Six Flags and Plague Productions, the attraction is set to debut during the 2026 Halloween season at Cedar Point in Ohio and Kings Dominion in Virginia.

Players stepping into the maze will encounter high production values designed to mimic the grim dark fantasy of the franchise. According to the official description from Plague Productions, visitors will traverse fiery environments and face off against some of the most iconic villains in gaming history, including The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith, and Diablo himself.

This crossover marks an interesting shift for how major game publishers market and celebrate milestone anniversaries. While digital events and in-game rewards remain the standard across PC and console ecosystems, stepping into real world physical activations gives long time fans a fresh way to engage with the lore and community outside of the usual seasonal updates and battle passes.

As reported by Game Rant, the attraction is designed exclusively for the two Six Flags locations as part of their annual Halloween festivities. It is a bold move that highlights how deeply ingrained gaming culture has become in mainstream entertainment, bridging the gap between digital play spaces and live action immersive experiences.
