Diablo 4 Season 15 arrives on September 15, bringing new Soul Splinters, classic legacy Uniques like the Stone of Jordan, and boss fights against the Prime Evils.
Sanctuary is shifting gears once again as Diablo 4 rolls out Season 15, officially titled Season of Hell's Legacy. According to Polygon, players can finally say goodbye to closing Ruptures and fighting the Death Cult, pivoting instead toward hunting down new Soul Splinters and tracking down classic gear from franchise history. The update drops on September 15 at 12:30 p.m. EDT across Battle.net, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, translating to 9:30 a.m. PDT for North American west coast players, 5:30 p.m. BST in the U.K., and rolling into the early hours of September 16 for Asia-Pacific regions.
This new seasonal update introduces Soul Splinters, which function similarly to gems by adding specific stats and unique effects to your gear. Drawing from the recent Public Test Realm data, items like the Greater Splinter of the Black Soultone offer massive stat boosts alongside specialized combat buffs that scale with absorbed enemy souls. Alongside the new gear grind, players will dive into a fresh quest line that brings back the Prime Evils, sending you to face Diablo beneath Tristram Cathedral, Baal at the Arreat Summit, and Mephisto in the Durance of Hate.
For longtime fans of the franchise, the biggest draw might be the addition of nine legacy Uniques designed to spark plenty of nostalgia. Blizzard has confirmed that iconic items like Leoric's Crown, the Stone of Jordan, and The Furnace are all making a return to the loot pool.
