Dead by Daylight is bringing back its popular 2v8 game mode alongside a second Attack on Titan crossover, featuring new rare cosmetics, character buffs, and themed lobby items.
Behaviour Interactive is gearing up for a major update in Dead by Daylight, pairing the return of the chaotic 2v8 limited-time mode with a brand-new wave of crossover content. Running from April 28 to May 19, the popular 2v8 mode doubles the standard player count to create much higher stakes and faster matches on the Fog. Behaviour is also making targeted balance adjustments for the return, handing out buffs to the Deathslinger while dialing back the Oni slightly to keep matches engaging across the board.
Alongside the gameplay refresh, the asymmetrical horror hit is diving back into the anime universe with a fresh Attack on Titan collaboration. Fans can look forward to iconic gear returning from the 2022 crossover, joined by brand-new additions like a towering legendary skin for The Trapper that transforms him into a titan. Other rare cosmetics include the Cleaning Levi outfit for Jake Park, Mikasa's dark uniform for Yui Kimura, and Sasha's uniform for Thalita Lyre.
The update rounds out its offerings with additional cosmetic sets like the Queen's Ball Attire for survivors Renato Lyra, Adam Francis, Mikaela Reid, and Haddie Kaur, plus the Heart of Freedom outfit for Feng Min and Meg Thomas. The themed lobby is also making a comeback to tie the event together, complete with dedicated event quests. For a detailed breakdown of the update, you can check out the original report on Eurogamer.
