Mintrocket has announced that Dave the Diver is coming to Xbox, dropping a new trailer and screenshot gallery during the latest Xbox Partner Preview broadcast.
The indie phenomenon that took over our social feeds last year is finally expanding its reach. During a recent Xbox Partner Preview broadcast, developer Mintrocket dropped a brand new trailer and screenshot gallery for Dave the Diver, confirming that the addictive deep sea exploration and sushi management hit is officially making its way to Microsoft consoles.
For anyone who somehow missed the wave, Dave the Diver brilliantly blends relaxed exploration with high pressure restaurant management. You spend your days diving into a shifting marine ecosystem and your nights running a bustling sushi restaurant with the fish you caught. It is the kind of loop that hooks both hardcore achievement hunters and casual streamers looking for a chill community vibe.
While the port announcement is great news for console players, the rollout also highlights how platform boundaries continue to dissolve as developers chase cross platform audiences. You can check out the newly released In the Jungle trailer and screenshots over at IGN South Africa to see what Mintrocket has in store for the upcoming Xbox version.
