Dark Lessons revealed a tense new demo trailer at The Horror Game Awards Showcase 2026, challenging players to survive a teacher's home using only a flickering candle.
Survival horror is getting a claustrophobic new entry as the official demo trailer for Dark Lessons makes its debut during The Horror Game Awards Showcase 2026. Originally highlighted by IGN South Africa, the footage plunges players directly into a terrifying premise where you find yourself trapped inside your teacher's home with nowhere to run.
Your primary survival tool in this nightmare is remarkably fragile. Armed with only a flickering candle to push back the creeping shadows, players will need to manage their light source carefully while navigating the hostile environment. It is a classic tension building mechanic that relies on atmosphere and limited visibility rather than constant action, appealing directly to fans of narrative driven scares.
With the demo now on the horizon following its showcase reveal, this title is shaping up to be a strong contender for streamers and horror enthusiasts looking for their next group scare. You can check out the official trailer breakdown and coverage over at IGN South Africa to see the candlelit terror in action before the demo drops.
