Cyberpunk 2077 is Headed to Battle.net as CD Projekt Red and Blizzard Expand Partnership

Cyberpunk 2077 is officially making its way to Battle.net later this year, expanding its platform reach as part of an ongoing partnership between CD Projekt Red and Blizzard.

CD Projekt Red and Blizzard have officially announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Battle.net later this year. Revealed during a special panel at BlizzCon, the move brings the open-source RPG to yet another major PC storefront alongside Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Players will have the option to grab either the base game or the Ultimate Edition, with the Phantom Liberty expansion also available for individual purchase.

This storefront expansion is the latest milestone in an ongoing crossover partnership between the two studios. Earlier this year, the companies announced that The Witcher 3 and related content would also head to Battle.net, complete with a Geralt cosmetic bundle for Diablo 4. During the BlizzCon presentation, the developers confirmed that additional Witcher themed cosmetics and crossover content based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are scheduled to arrive in Overwatch throughout 2027.

Cyberpunk 2077 continues to show massive commercial staying power years after its initial launch. According to recent figures from CD Projekt Red, the base game has now surpassed 40 million copies sold, while the Phantom Liberty expansion has moved another 15 million units. While an exact release date for the Battle.net version has not been locked in yet, the steady stream of new platform launches and cross-game collaborations ensures Night City will stay active for a long time.
