Cyberpunk 2077 Hacking into PlayStation Plus? And Twisted Metal?! July's Lineup Looks Bloody Good

Sony's PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for July 2025 is bringing the heat with Cyberpunk 2077 and a whole heap of other goodies, including classic Twisted Metal for Premium subscribers, making it a month worth checking out. It's a solid mix of new and old, something for everyone to be excited about, and maybe even a reason to keep that subscription rolling.
Right, so Sony's just dropped the deets on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for July 2025, and fair dinkum, it's a bit of a banger. We're not just talking about some dusty old titles they found in the back of a server room, mate. We're talking Cyberpunk 2077. That's right, the neon-drenched, corpo-smashing RPG is hitting the service, alongside a 30% discount on the Phantom Liberty DLC. Seems they're celebrating 15 years of PlayStation Plus, which, let's be honest, is longer than some of us have been alive.
But what does this mean? Are they trying to tempt lapsed players back into Night City? Or just giving us an excuse to dive back in and try a new build? Either way, I'm not complaining.
According to a PlayStation Blog post, the goodies are rolling out throughout July. If you're rocking the Extra tier, you'll also be able to get your mitts on games like Bluey: The Videogame (for the kids, obviously... *cough*), Planet Zoo (because who doesn't love building virtual habitats?), and Tropico 6 (dictator simulator, anyone?). All coming July 15th.
But hold on, there's more! Risk of Rain 2, that ridiculously addictive roguelike shooter, is also landing on July 15th. Expect frantic co-op sessions and plenty of swearing as you try to survive increasingly chaotic waves of enemies. Plus, New World: Aeternum and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are joining the fray.
Now, for those of you with Premium, get ready for a blast from the past. Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 are making a comeback on July 15th. Remember those days of vehicular carnage? Time to dust off your demolition derby skills and unleash some twisted metal mayhem. It's so retro, it's almost... charming?
And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, Abiotic Factor, a survival crafting game, launches day one for Extra subscribers on July 22nd. So, plenty to keep us all busy, eh?
Here's the full rundown, just in case your brain's already overloaded with gaming goodness:
