Crunchyroll is releasing premium limited edition Blu-rays for Dragon Ball Daima and Solo Leveling season 2 in March 2026, featuring exclusive artbooks, foil packaging, and subscriber discounts.
Physical media is making a serious play for collector shelves, and two of the biggest modern anime hits are getting the prestige treatment. As reported by Polygon, Crunchyroll has announced upcoming limited edition Blu-ray releases for both Dragon Ball Daima and Solo Leveling season two, scheduled to drop in March 2026. For a generation of fans who treat anime as a core part of their daily entertainment diet and digital media diet, these physical packages offer a tangible way to own series that have defined the streaming landscape.
Dragon Ball Daima arrives on March 3, 2026, carrying extra weight as the final piece of Dragon Ball media touched by creator Akira Toriyama before his passing, while also coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the original anime franchise. The limited edition version comes packaged in a silver-foil rigid box featuring exclusive art by character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, alongside art cards and mini stickers. Meanwhile, Solo Leveling season two follows on March 17, 2026, capitalizing on its massive streaming momentum with a release that includes a 68-page artbook, cast interviews, and shadow character sticker sheets.
For collectors who spend most of their time in streaming apps, these physical editions lean heavily into tangible perks to justify the cost. Standard editions for both titles are priced at $69.98, while the Dragon Ball Daima limited set sits at $94.98 and the Solo Leveling set runs $89.98, with active Crunchyroll subscribers eligible for tiered discounts. In an era where digital libraries can shift at the whim of licensing agreements, premium physical drops give fans a permanent slice of the shows dominating creator culture and community feeds.
