Critically Acclaimed Open-World Survival Game RuneScape Dragonwilds Heads to PS5

RuneScape Dragonwilds is bringing its highly rated open-world survival gameplay to PS5 on September 15 with full crossplay and day one subscription availability.

PlayStation 5 players are about to get a major new addition to their co-op rotation. As originally reported by GameRant, RuneScape Dragonwilds is officially making the jump to Sony consoles on September 15. The game supports up to four players in an open fantasy world, blending classic survival crafting mechanics with the familiar RPG skill progression and iconic monsters of the RuneScape universe. It also includes dedicated modes for builders and hardcore challenge seekers.

The port follows a strong early access run on PC, where the title cleared one million sales and pulled in an impressive 9.2 out of 10 average score on Steam. For console players, the transition is smooth thanks to full crossplay support across PC and Xbox platforms. That means friend groups can easily team up for gathering, questing, and boss fights regardless of where everyone chooses to play.

In a great move for player accessibility, the game is launching as a day one addition to PS Plus Extra. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, making it easy for subscribers to jump in without paying the standard twenty-nine dollar retail price. With other major survival titles landing on console recently, subscription model availability is a smart way to get a co-op community populated right out of the gate.
