AdHoc Studio is bringing its hit 2025 superhero workplace comedy Dispatch to physical consoles and vinyl later this year, giving physical media fans plenty to celebrate.
As the industry shifts further toward all-digital libraries and cloud streaming, physical media lovers continue to score major victories when independent developers step up to the plate. Polygon reports that AdHoc Studio is celebrating the upcoming first anniversary of Dispatch by teaming up with PM Studios to release physical editions for current-generation platforms. After capturing three BAFTAs and moving over four million copies since its 2025 launch, the superhero workplace comedy is finally getting the boxed treatment that physical collectors crave.
Players can choose between a standard Deluxe Edition priced at $49.99 and a SteelBook Edition for $59.99, with both options arriving on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Alongside the game on disc or cartridge, these releases come packed with digital artbooks, bonus comics, a printed booklet, and a double-sided poster. Fans looking to complete their shelf space can also secure a stunning triple-LP vinyl soundtrack through Lost In Cult Records, featuring original music and licensed tracks from artists like Future Islands and BADBADNOTGOOD.
For a community that values digital ownership and tangible memorabilia in equal measure, these physical drops offer a great way to celebrate a modern classic. Preorders are open now ahead of a planned Q4 2026 delivery window, giving both die-hard fans and new players a solid reason to add some physical flair to their gaming setups.
