Square Enix is bringing high-profile action RPG storytelling to next-generation portable hardware with the official Nintendo Switch 2 launch trailer for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. Originally positioned as a definitive chapter in the broader Compilation of Final Fantasy 7, this remaster lets players step into the boots of Zack Fair to experience the critical events leading up to the main game.
For players who treat portable gaming as a primary way to knock out sprawling RPG campaigns, seeing major console experiences land on the Switch 2 platform highlights the continuing evolution of cross-platform accessibility. The technical upgrade means players on the go get smooth performance alongside the emotional highs and lows of Zack's journey through the ranks of Shinra.
As spotted in the latest release details courtesy of IGN South Africa, the title is available now for players ready to dive back into the lore. It is a solid addition for anyone looking to round out their library with a narrative-heavy action game that makes full use of modern hybrid hardware capabilities.
