Remedy Entertainment has announced upcoming post-launch updates for Control Resonant, featuring an endless New Game++ mode in October and a community-tested photo mode in November.
Remedy Entertainment is already following up on launch day feedback for Control Resonant. Alongside a recent hotfix designed to smooth out some of the tougher combat encounters, the studio has detailed its post launch roadmap. Players can look forward to a dedicated New Game++ mode arriving next month, followed by a fully featured photo mode in November.
The upcoming New Game++ option addresses a common community request by allowing players to chain multiple playthroughs together without resetting their progress. While Remedy joked that you could complete 665 runs if you really wanted to, the feature primarily ensures that dedicated fans can keep pushing their builds forward across endless cycles. This ongoing engagement loop matters a lot for modern single player games that rely on community longevity and streamer replay value.
Following that in November, the long awaited photo mode will finally drop. Remedy noted that the feature has been in development for a while and even involved consultations with virtual photographers to ensure it meets community standards. Given how well the game translates its signature New Weird aesthetic into open environments, virtual shutterbugs will have plenty of strange architecture and gravity defying anomalies to capture.
As reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, these updates show Remedy is listening closely to its player base right out of the gate. Between endless playthrough loops, community tested photography tools, and upcoming cosmetics, Control Resonant is shaping up to be a staple for both casual explorers and hardcore achievement hunters alike.
