Control Resonant Post-Launch Roadmap Brings Photo Mode and Endless New Game Plus Plus

Remedy Entertainment has detailed post-launch plans for Control Resonant, including an endless New Game Plus Plus mode in October and a Photo Mode in November.

Remedy Entertainment is keeping the momentum going for Control Resonant, detailing a post-launch roadmap that addresses player feedback head-on. The studio confirmed that fresh updates are on the way, bringing highly requested quality of life features and cosmetic options to the action RPG. For a game set in such a visually striking and distorted version of Manhattan, these additions give players plenty of reasons to stick around or dive back in.

The standout feature on the calendar is New Game Plus Plus, scheduled to arrive next October. While the standard New Game Plus lets players carry over most paranatural upgrades into a fresh save, this double plus variant takes things further by allowing endless consecutive runs without wiping your accumulated progress. Remedy joked in a recent community update that you can complete 665 runs if you want to test your limits.

Following that in November, a dedicated Photo Mode will finally let the community capture the game's eerie architecture and chaotic combat encounters. Remedy noted that the feature was delayed from launch to ensure overall game stability, but they consulted real virtual photographers to get the tools right. Additional cosmetic pieces for Dylan Faden are also in the pipeline for players treating the surreal adventure like a digital runway, rounding out a solid post-launch plan for the community.
