Control Resonant Drops Massive October Update Featuring New Game++ and Quality of Life Overhauls

Remedy Entertainment has released a massive October update for Control Resonant, adding infinite New Game++ runs, quality of life upgrades, and combat adjustments based on community feedback.

Remedy Entertainment is rolling out the first major post-launch update for Control Resonant, bringing a massive wave of fixes, balancing adjustments, and highly requested features to the twisted Manhattan setting. Following a strong digital launch that surpassed two million wishlists on Steam, this patch tackles community feedback head-on by introducing an infinite New Game++ mode for players who want to keep running the campaign. Quality of life takes center stage in this update with smarter inventory management, including direct Build Power visibility on the loadout screen and map icons that instantly show vendor stock for pinned materials.

The update also addresses specific pain points in the game world, most notably by reducing overall combat intensity by ten to fifteen percent in the challenging Unknown Zone. Audio customization gets a major boost as well, adding dedicated volume sliders for dual-source audio between headsets and the DualSense controller, alongside a streamer-friendly option to mute copyrighted music during the intro credits. Performance optimizations target PC specs, while code stability fixes roll out across all platforms to iron out lingering crash bugs and visual artifacts.

Looking ahead, Remedy has confirmed that a dedicated Photo Mode is currently in development for a November release, built in collaboration with community photographers. As players continue to dive into side quests and level up their gear across platforms, this first substantial patch proves the studio is committed to refining the experience based on direct player feedback.
