PC gamers have until September 7 to claim the 2022 World War 2 shooter Beach Invasion 1944 completely free on the Epic Games Store.
PC players looking to pad out their digital libraries have a limited window to grab the 2022 first-person shooter Beach Invasion 1944 completely free of charge. Originally priced at $9.99, the World War 2 shooter is currently sitting at one hundred percent off on the Epic Games Store thanks to a direct promotion by developer Aix2 Games. Unlike the platform's standard weekly giveaways, this limited-time offer comes directly from the creators and will disappear after September 7, though anyone who claims it keeps the game permanently added to their library.
Developed by Aix2 Games, the title offers a slightly different perspective on historical conflict by placing players on the opposing side, tasking them with defending beach fortifications against waves of allied troops, tanks, and aircraft. The gameplay relies on classic historical weaponry like the MG42 and Flak88 alongside defensive tools such as mines and artillery strikes. While the experience is designed for shorter gaming sessions rather than sprawling campaigns, it has managed to pull in very positive reviews on Steam from players who appreciate its arcade style focus.
With new game prices continuing to climb, taking advantage of publisher promotions is one of the easiest ways to keep a diverse rotation of titles installed across your PC rig without breaking the bank. Because the game is free to keep forever once claimed, there is no pressure to download it immediately, making it a painless addition to the ever-growing backlog. Head over to the Epic Games Store before the deadline strikes to secure your copy.
As reported by GameRant, this promotion runs independently of the platform's standard weekly schedule, meaning you can stack it alongside other ongoing digital storefront freebies. For players who enjoy straightforward arcade shooters or simply want to expand their library with zero financial commitment, it is an easy recommendation for the weekend.
