Amazon MGM Studios has dropped the official second trailer for Crime 101, giving us another look at the upcoming crime action drama hitting theaters next month. Set against the sun-bleached asphalt of Los Angeles, the film follows an elusive thief pulling off high-stakes heists along the iconic 101 freeway. He sets his sights on one final score, but his plans derail when he crosses paths with a disillusioned insurance broker facing her own life crossroads. The two are forced into an uneasy collaboration while a relentless detective closes in on their operation.
The project boasts a massive ensemble cast alongside its powerhouse leads. Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan headline a roster that also includes Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte. Behind the camera, the film is directed by Bart Layton, who brings his signature tension-building style to the narrative. As the multimillion-dollar heist draws closer, the line between hunter and hunted quickly dissolves, leaving every major player to face the heavy cost of their choices.
For moviegoers looking for a grounded, high-tension thriller that leans into classic crime tropes, this is shaping up to be a notable theatrical event early in the year.
