Capcom's first update for Pragmata eases the brutally difficult final training simulation challenge and adds a new community-inspired outfit for Hugh.
Capcom has just dropped update 1.220 for Pragmata across PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, delivering the sci-fi action adventure game's first gameplay patch since its strong launch back in April. For completionists and achievement hunters who have been hitting a brick wall trying to 100% the game, the wait was worth it. According to the original report by Polygon, the notoriously punishing 30th and final training simulation challenge, titled Stand or Die, has officially received a difficulty reduction.
Before this update, Stand or Die acted as the ultimate gatekeeper for trophy hunters. Players had to navigate waves of enemies and solve a tight time-pressure laser puzzle right at the end, all while trying to clear the target area within 190 seconds and without taking damage. While the community poured endless hours into finally cracking the gauntlet, a moment of silence is definitely required for players like Reddit user SlicedBread0556, who managed to conquer the brutal challenge just hours before Capcom made it considerably more accessible.
Alongside the difficulty nerf, update 1.220 brings a fun cosmetic bonus for protagonist Hugh. Players can now equip the Scribble Suit, a colorful outfit covered in rudimentary drawings that looks like Diana got creative with marker pens, which was first previewed in the pre-launch Sketchbook demo. Capcom also released a brand-new music video for the track Memories Are You alongside the patch notes. You can head over to the official Capcom website for the full breakdown of the update.
