Epic Games and Disney are bringing Percy Jackson and the Olympians to Fortnite with a custom standalone island on December 9, allowing players to join Camp Half-Blood, discover their godly parent, and battle mythical monsters.
Epic Games is expanding its ever-growing list of cultural crossovers by bringing Percy Jackson into Fortnite. Starting on December 9, players will be able to jump into a custom standalone island published by Disney to celebrate the upcoming second season of the Disney+ adaptation. Instead of just dropping a few skins into the shop, this collaboration leans into the Creative ecosystem by giving fans a dedicated world to explore alongside their squad.
The island drops players right into the mythological action by letting them join Camp Half-Blood and discover which Olympian god claims them as a parent. From there, players can unlock divine powers and team up with other demigods to take on iconic threats like Scylla and Charybdis on the Sea of Monsters. It is a smart way to bridge the gap between streaming television and interactive gaming, giving fans a new reason to log in while keeping the Chapter 7 momentum going.
For modern players, these branded experiential spaces have become a normal part of how major entertainment franchises launch new seasons. Rather than watching a trailer, communities can hang out, play together, and share clips across TikTok and YouTube while hyping up a favorite show. This cross-promotional model keeps Fortnite feeling like a massive digital theme park where pop culture events happen live, and it gives communities another shared space to connect.
