Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Gears Up for Final Hurrah with Season 6 and The Haunting Update

Black Ops 7 Season 6 launches on September 17, bringing back The Haunting event with new multiplayer maps, zombies content, and Warzone updates as the final season before Modern Warfare 4.

The final chapter for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is almost here. Polygon reports that Season 6 launches on Thursday, September 17, at 12 p.m. EDT, setting the stage as the last major content drop before Modern Warfare 4 takes over the annual cycle. Players on the west coast can jump in at 9 a.m. PDT, while UK players get access at 5 p.m. BST, and Australian players log on early Friday morning at 2 a.m. AET.

True to the autumn calendar, Season 6 brings back the community-favorite Haunting event across multiplayer, zombies, and Warzone. Multiplayer fans are getting two brand new 6v6 maps named Quantum and Bloodstead, alongside a special limited time mode called T.E.D.D. Trials that introduces three zombie-themed arena variants. Meanwhile, zombies players receive a new survival map called Tenshu, and the endgame mode transforms Avalon with a nighttime atmosphere and a massive ancient worm boss encounter.

Over in Warzone, Haven's Hollow transforms into Haunted Hollow complete with a spectral ghost train and map-wide atmospheric changes. As battle pass progressions wind down for this iteration, this massive seasonal drop gives the active community plenty of spooky content to grind through before the next major franchise pivot.
