Nostalgia is a powerful engine in modern gaming, and another classic 90s property is about to make an unexpected comeback. According to an exclusive report by Game Rant, the cult-classic animated series Biker Mice from Mars is getting its first new game in twenty years. Titled Biker Mice from Mars: Rock and Ride, the upcoming title is currently in development at Miami-based studio Purple Play Games, known for their work bringing international titles to global audiences, including the recent Baki Hanma fighter.
The new project will head to PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, though a specific release window has not yet been announced. Players can expect fast-paced, arcade-style gameplay that leans into the roots of the franchise. The core trio of Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie will all be playable characters right out of the gate, alongside a roster of unlockable favorites like Carbine and Scorch.
For anyone who grew up watching the original 1993 syndicated series or playing the SNES and PS2 adaptations, this announcement marks a major trip down memory lane. The Nacelle Company is spearheading the revival, proving that dormant intellectual properties still hold plenty of appeal for players who appreciate retro revivals done right. Keep an eye on community hubs as more details about the gameplay mechanics and launch date emerge.
