Bethesda has opened pre-orders for a strictly limited $179.99 Atlan statue from Doom: The Dark Ages, alongside news of ongoing combat updates for the shooter.
Bethesda and id Software are bringing a massive piece of Doom history into the physical world. As reported by Game Rant, the Bethesda Gear Shop has opened pre-orders for a new limited edition Atlan desktop statue priced at $179.99. Standing at just over ten inches tall and manufactured by DPI Merch, the collectible captures the iconic battle mech that players finally got to pilot in last year's campaign. Production is strictly capped at 500 units worldwide, each coming with an official certificate of authenticity ahead of a scheduled November launch.
For collectors looking for a slightly different centerpiece, Dark Horse is also releasing a $109.99 Doom Slayer PVC statue featuring the protagonist in his Void Skin gear with the Super Shotgun and Shield Saw, slated to ship in October. These high-end physical items arrive alongside ongoing digital support for the shooter. Following the July release of the Revelations expansion, id Software has teased an upcoming game mode focused on endless combat replayability to keep the community engaged.
High-end collector pieces have become a standard part of major franchise rollouts, appealing to dedicated players who treat their gaming spaces as shrines to their favorite universes. While a limited run of 500 units at nearly two hundred dollars targets the most hardcore enthusiasts, the steady stream of post-launch updates ensures the game remains an active social hub for the wider player base.
