Benjen Stark is stepping into the spotlight as a Legendary Champion in the upcoming Kingsroad: The Unlikely Heir event for Game of Thrones: Legends. The October update brings fresh lore and seasonal progression alongside classic Westerosi battle events.
Westeros has no shortage of unresolved fates, and one of the most enigmatic members of the Stark family is finally getting his due. Game Rant reports that Benjen Stark is taking center stage as a new Legendary Champion in Game of Thrones: Legends. The upcoming storyline, titled Kingsroad: The Unlikely Heir, puts the spotlight squarely on Ned Stark's youngest brother and his mysterious past with the Night's Watch.
Running from October 12 through November 9, the seasonal event tasks players with progressing through tiers via daily and weekly quests. As expected with modern mobile live service titles, the update also brings a dedicated Goldroad Pass featuring exclusive Champion Shards for those who opt into the paid track. Benjen has long been a fringe figure in franchise adaptations, famously vanishing beyond the Wall before his eventual return, so this deeper dive gives longtime fans a neat slice of lore to chew on.
The Stark-focused event kicks off a packed October roadmap for the mobile title. Players can also look forward to classic set-piece events like the Battle of the Bastards and the Battle of Blackwater Bay, alongside new summons centered on the Hightowers and Aerion Targaryen. It is a solid lineup for players who like their mobile gaming tied to heavy franchise worldbuilding and steady seasonal content drops.
