Fans of animated noir storytelling have a firm date to circle on their calendars. Prime Video has officially announced that the entire ten episode run of Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 will premiere on Friday, July 31, 2026. The announcement arrived alongside a fresh batch of promotional images, giving the community an early look at the art direction and character designs to expect when the Dark Knight returns to streaming.
The series, which leans heavily into the pulp detective roots of the character, has built a dedicated following among viewers who appreciate a more grounded and atmospheric take on Gotham City.
