Bam Margera is set to appear in the upcoming Jackass 5 through previously unseen archive footage, according to reports by Variety. While he is not filming new stunts for what Johnny Knoxville calls the final movie in the franchise, the agreement brings him back into the fold for the series' grand finale.
The chaotic crew is getting back together for one final ride. According to a report by Variety, the newly confirmed Jackass 5 will feature Bam Margera through previously unseen archive footage after the skater signed an agreement with the production. Johnny Knoxville recently stated that this upcoming film will be the final installment in the franchise, making it a definitive curtain call for the longtime stunt team.
Margera is not currently scheduled to participate in any newly filmed stunts for the project, though the agreement leaves the door open for potential changes down the line. The exact nature of the archive footage remains under wraps, but industry reports suggest it likely stems from material captured during the production of 2022's Jackass Forever before Margera parted ways with the project.
For a franchise deeply tied to internet culture, physical comedy, and the enduring nostalgia of millennial audiences, this final chapter marks the end of an era. As creators and streaming communities gear up for the release, fans are watching closely to see how the production handles its legacy. You can read the original reporting over at IGN South Africa.
