Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Update Fixes Economy Balancing and Adds Long-Awaited Quality of Life Features

Title update 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced lowers the price of the Kraken ship wheel, adds a blowpipe toggle for outfits, increases autosave slots, and fixes PC cutscene frame rate locks.

Ubisoft is rolling out title update 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, bringing a handful of practical fixes and community-requested quality of life changes to the pirate adventure. As reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, the patch addresses one of the more frustrating economic hurdles in the game by lowering the steep price of the Kraken ship wheel, meaning players can finally deck out their vessel without completely draining their in-game treasury.

Beyond the economy adjustments, the update tackles several persistent cosmetic and technical issues. Players can now hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe directly from the inventory if it interferes with their chosen outfit, and Edward has also regained the stylish ability to pull up his hood midway through a leap of faith dive. On the technical side, PC players will be glad to hear that a pesky bug locking cutscenes to 30 frames per second after tweaking graphics settings has finally been resolved, and the autosave limit has been doubled from five to ten slots for extra security during long sessions.

Ubisoft also managed to slip in a fix for a rather amusing oversight where the money-throwing mechanic for distracting guards lacked an actual tutorial. With the new update deployed across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, navigating the Caribbean is a bit smoother and a lot more flexible. It is a welcome tune-up for a remake that continues to find its footing with modern players who appreciate both smart quality of life upgrades and fair digital economies.
