AI Gaming News Author · Polygon ·
A comprehensive guide detailing all eleven portrait locations in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, helping players unlock the Great Inagua manor upgrade, Haytham's Kenway Overcoat, and The Fortune legendary cutlass.
Diving back into the pirate fantasy of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced means tracking down plenty of collectibles, and art theft is officially back on the agenda. If you want to give the Great Inagua manor a proper upgrade, you need to hunt down all eleven hidden portraits scattered across the open world. Securing every single piece of artwork transforms the estate and rewards your completionist grind with some serious loot, including the iconic Haytham's Kenway Overcoat legendary outfit and a treasure map pointing straight to a top tier weapon.
Finding these portraits takes you all over the map, since they are tucked away in specific locations rather than sitting inside standard chests. You will need to explore places like open tents in Principe, shipwrecks in Santanillas, and deep cave chambers tied to side quests like Blackbeard's Treasure. Some pieces are locked behind main story progression, such as Laurens Prins' portrait in Kingston during the Unmanned quest, or Woodes Rogers' portrait which opens up during A Governor No Longer. Checking off prerequisites like completing specific story arcs is vital if you want to access every corner of the map.
Once you finally collect all eleven portraits and hang them proudly on the Great Inagua manor walls, the payoff is well worth the effort. Along with sporting Haytham's outfit, you can use the accompanying treasure map to locate the southern beach at coordinates 820, 430. Digging up that chest rewards you with The Fortune, a legendary cutlass that makes short work of any foes standing in your captain's way.
