Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Patch 1.0.6 Lets Players Finally Hide Edward's Blowpipe

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 adds a long-requested option to hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe, increases autosave slots, and arrives as the game surpasses 3.5 million sales.

Ubisoft is rolling out Update 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, bringing a handful of quality-of-life adjustments alongside a surprisingly requested cosmetic fix. Originally reported by Eurogamer, the update's standout feature is a simple toggle that lets players hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe. For a game focused heavily on stylish pirate aesthetics and photo mode captures, the prominent weapon model frequently clipped through custom outfits, drawing minor complaints from fashion focused players since launch.

To use the new feature, players simply need to open the in-game inventory screen, hover over their current outfit, and press R2 or RT to toggle the gear visibility on or off. Beyond the aesthetic fix, Patch 1.0.6 also doubles the autosave slot limit from five to ten and introduces a dedicated tutorial for throwing money. A series of routine bug fixes rounds out the patch notes as the studio continues to polish the experience.

The update arrives while the game continues to perform strongly for Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced surpassed publisher expectations by moving over 3.5 million copies in its first fourteen days alone, alongside a strong showing on PC and console engagement charts.
