As part of their IGN First coverage, IGN South Africa has shared a brand new cutscene from Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. The newly released footage gives players a glimpse at Edward and Caroline sharing a slightly awkward moment over a mug of hot chocolate. It is a quiet, character-driven beat that feels familiar yet distinct as production on the project continues to move forward.
For a community that has spent over a decade sailing the virtual seas with Edward Kenway, revisiting these foundational narrative moments brings a fresh wave of curiosity. Remasters and remakes walk a fine line between preserving nostalgia and justifying their own existence with tangible visual and atmospheric upgrades.
