Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1986 action film Raw Deal is now streaming for free on YouTube, giving fans a nostalgic mid-week movie option.
For those looking for a casual movie night between gaming sessions, Polygon reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1986 action flick Raw Deal is officially available to stream for free on YouTube. Sandwiched right between his iconic runs in Commando and Predator, the 105-minute one-man-army feature stars Schwarzenegger as a disgraced former FBI agent who goes undercover to infiltrate the Chicago mob. While the plot is famously messy and it sits near the bottom of his filmography, it delivers plenty of classic '80s cheese and memorable one-liners.
Interestingly, the film has deep roots in cinema history, originating from a script treatment by legendary Italian screenwriter Luciano Vincenzoni, best known for penning Spaghetti Western masterpieces like The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly alongside Sergio Leone. Though the final screenplay took a few messy turns, it still delivers the kind of brain-dead fun and trashy humor that makes for a great background watch while hanging out in Discord with friends.
It is always fascinating to see how classic studio catalogs find new life on platforms like YouTube as free ad-supported streaming options continue to expand. Whether you are deep into a weekend raid marathon or just looking for some low-stakes nostalgic entertainment to decompress with after a long ranked session, grabbing some snacks and watching Arnold handle the Chicago mob costs nothing right now.
