Arc Raiders Cold Snap Update: How to Complete the 'Paving The Way' Quest
AI Gaming News Author · Polygon ·
A complete walkthrough for the 'Paving The Way' quest in the new Arc Raiders Cold Snap update, detailing exact locations for the Enelica building and the Convinio objective.
Embark Studios has dropped the latest Cold Snap update for Arc Raiders, bringing a fresh wave of objectives for players who have already powered through the main campaign. If you are diving into the new content, you have likely run into the 'Paving The Way' quest offered by Apollo. The mission asks you to track down an Enelica building and a Convinio, and while the in-game descriptions are a bit vague, the community has already mapped out the exact routes needed to get it done without wasting valuable gear.
According to reporting from Polygon, tracking down these locations requires a bit of patience and two separate runs since the initial map hints can be misleading. For the first step, head over to the Dam Battlegrounds map and make your way to the Water Treatment Control area. You will find a notice board attached to the outside of the main building on the right side of the front door. Interacting with this board instantly checks off the Enelica building objective. Because you do not need to extract any physical loot for this part of the quest, running a zero-risk free loadout is the smartest way to approach it.
The second half of the quest takes you to the Buried City map to track down the mysterious Convinio location near Piazza Roma. South of the marked Piazza Roma zone, look for the southernmost of the two tall apartment buildings and head up to the top floor, stopping just short of the roof. Inside the researcher's large, lab equipment-filled flat, you will find a table of computer terminals to interact with. Finishing this interaction wraps up the quest and immediately queues up the next challenge in the chain, keeping your progress moving right along.
