Amazon and Warner Bros. announced Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles, a 1-4 player co-op detective game launching July 31 as an Amazon Luna exclusive that ties directly into the second season of the Prime Video animated series.
Warner Bros. and Amazon just pulled the curtain back on Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles, a new one to four player cooperative detective game slated to launch on July 31. Revealed during the opening day of San Diego Comic-Con, the title is built specifically as an Amazon Luna exclusive tie-in to the second season of the acclaimed Prime Video animated series. Rather than serving as direct interactive adaptations of specific TV scripts, the game features 11 playable episodes packed with detective-themed mini-games designed to expand on the dark, noir-inspired Gotham City introduced in the show.
For players who treat gaming as a collaborative social space, the co-op focus makes this an interesting drop for game nights, especially with the second season of the animated series releasing all 10 episodes simultaneously on Prime Video the very same day. The project highlights a growing industry trend of cross-media synchronization where streaming entertainment and interactive play drop in tandem, giving communities fresh content to unpack together across platforms.
While cloud-exclusive releases like those on Amazon Luna always spark conversations about accessibility and hardware requirements, cooperative puzzle-solving and detective mechanics fit naturally into modern streaming and party play formats. As players look for new ways to engage with their favorite universes alongside friends, this cross-platform tie-in offers another avenue to dive into Gotham's underworld.
