Amazon Prime Day Keyboard Kraken Unleashed: Some Deals Are Actually Worth Your Coin

Amazon's Prime Day sale is overflowing with keyboard deals, but are any of them actually good? This article highlights a few potentially worthwhile options for gamers looking to upgrade their input devices.

Right, so Amazon's Prime Day sale is upon us, and that means one thing: a deluge of deals that are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. But fear not, intrepid gamers! I've braved the digital bargain bins to bring you some keyboard deals that actually *might* be worth parting with your hard-earned coin.

Christian Wait over at Rock Paper Shotgun (bless their souls) did the heavy lifting, sifting through the noise to find the shiny treasures. I've taken a peek and, fair dinkum, there are a few standouts.

Let's dive in, shall we? (Prices and availability accurate as of, well, whenever Amazon decides to change them. You know how it goes.)

* **Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed (Was: $199.99 Now: $89.99 - 55% off):** Okay, a wireless 65% board for under $100? That's actually pretty tempting. Razer switches, RGB that'll make your eyes water (in a good way?), and pudding keycaps? Sounds like a solid little performer for those of us with desk space smaller than a goblin's hoard.

* **SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless (Was: $249.99 Now: $149.99 - 40% off):** Ooh, adjustable magnetic switches. Sounds like wizardry to me. Apparently, you can fine-tune the actuation point for each key. Sounds like the kind of thing that'll either make you a god-tier gamer or drive you utterly bonkers. Either way, an OLED screen is a nice touch, I reckon.

* **Corsair K70 MAX RGB (Was: $249.99 Now: $164.99 - 34% off):** 8000Hz polling rate? Bloody hell, that's fast. Adjustable actuation points? More wizardry! RGB lighting that'll probably distract you more than help you? Sounds like a proper gamer keyboard. If you're chasing milliseconds, this might be your pony.

* **Glorious GMMK 3 TKL (Was: $129.99 Now: $89.99 - 31% off):** Hot-swappable switches and a programmable knob? Now we're talking. This is the kind of board you get if you fancy yourself a bit of a keyboard tinkerer. Start swapping out switches and keycaps, and before you know it, you'll be down a rabbit hole of custom keyboard builds. Be warned, it's addictive.

* **ASUS ROG Azoth 75 (Was: $274.99 Now: $208.99 - 24% off):** Alright, now we're getting into enthusiast territory. OLED screen, hot-swap switches, and even a lube kit included? This is for the gamer who takes their keyboard *very* seriously. Still, a killer board out of the box, if that's what you're after.

* **8BitDo Retro 87 Xbox Edition (Was: $119.99 Now: $99.99 - 17% off):** Now this is just plain cool. Retro vibes meets modern tech. Hot-swappable switches in a package that screams nostalgia. Perfect for those of us who remember the good ol' days of gaming (or just want to pretend we do).

So, there you have it. A few Prime Day keyboard deals that might actually be worth a look. Remember to do your own research, read the reviews, and don't get sucked into the hype. And for goodness sake, don't buy a keyboard just because it has RGB lighting. (Unless that's your thing, in which case, go for it!)
