Adult Swim and IGN South Africa have revealed an exclusive trailer for the Rooster Fighter anime adaptation, bringing Keiji the heroic rooster to screens on March 14.
Adult Swim is bringing one of manga's most unlikely heroes to screens very soon. IGN South Africa recently debuted the exclusive trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Rooster Fighter, based on Shu Sakuratani’s hit manga series. The footage showcases the titular avian protagonist, Keiji, stepping up as humanity's most dedicated and unexpected defender against towering kaiju threats. Fans can catch the streaming debut when the series officially premieres on March 14.
For anyone who has followed the manga, the adaptation looks to capture the same over-the-top action and surprisingly deadpan humor that made the source material a viral hit across social media. Adult Swim continues to lean heavily into high-concept anime projects that easily capture the attention of late-night viewers and online communities alike. Between clip sharing on TikTok and dedicated breakdown videos on YouTube, series like this thrive on modern streaming ecosystems where internet culture and traditional broadcast intersect.
As we get closer to the March release date, expect to see more promotional material and community discussions pop up across streaming feeds. Whether you are catching episodes live or waiting for the binge on-demand, Keiji's journey is shaping up to be one of the more unique anime talking points of the season. You can check out the original trailer reveal and read more details over at IGN South Africa.
