Steam users can claim the 2018 tactical RPG Tower of Time for free until May 23 through a Fanatical promotion covered by Game Rant.
Digital storefront promotions continue to deliver strong value for players looking to expand their backlogs without spending extra cash. According to a report by Game Rant, Steam users have a limited window to claim the acclaimed 2018 tactical RPG Tower of Time completely free of charge. This particular giveaway is running as part of the ongoing Fanatical May Madness sale rather than a direct Valve promotion, requiring players to grab a key through the third party retailer before the offer expires on May 23.
Tower of Time earned a solid reputation among RPG enthusiasts for blending classic dungeon crawling with tactical, real time combat and a rich fantasy narrative. For players balancing busy schedules or managing curated libraries across multiple platforms, picking up a well regarded single player title at no cost is an easy win. Promotions like this also give smaller or older indie gems a second wind in the community, sparking fresh conversations across creator streams and Discord servers.
While this Fanatical deal gives players a guaranteed addition to their Steam library, the wider free game landscape requires a bit of patience. Recent backend data leaks suggest other titles like Warhammer 40,000: Gladius and Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 might hit zero dollars soon, though those unconfirmed listings are always subject to change. For now, grabbing Tower of Time is a straightforward way to lock in some quality gaming time before the May 23 deadline.
